9:00 – Final day to put in a ticket for the print draw. Draw for Tony Luciani’s prints will occur at the dinner later. Plans are to meet in the Piazza in Ofena.
10:00 – We meet at the cemetery with those interested in a visit there.
10:45 – 11:00 We will meet all the others participating in the morning visits at the parking lot of the football field, in front of the Silveri Bakery. Ida Silveri will offer us a drink and some of their typical cookies until we all convene there, then we will go visit Chiesa di San Pietro in Critpys and the Cappuccini/via Crucis with a stop in front of San Francesco.
We will proceed to the Capppuccini, there we can park and walk along the Via Crucis. I received informations on the artists that made it and I can share it.
Being in the lower part of the village after the cemetery/art tour , the next 2 activities optional
1. Optional – A boat tour of the Lago Capodacqua to discover the nature around the lake and the old mills and buildings underwater. For those interested, it can be organized by Calipso Underwater Experience …

2. Optional
12:30 – There will be a tour of the Cataldi Madonna winery, followed by a catered lunch outdoors.(it will be complete from starter to finish with 3 wine tastings) (25 Euros each) In case of bad weather the lunch will be moved the piazza san Carlo.
17:00 – (when it is cooler) Meet at the Piazza. Tours around the village that will include streets of note, churches, monuments
- a short visit to the atalier of Piera in an old Palace with a beautiful courtyard then to the church to look at the frescoes
- a short talk on transumunza by Barbara using examples of what we will see in the village.
- Barbara is also planning a stop in Piazza Dante to see some things of interest as well as the Porta a Piedi
The tour will go from up to down so it will be less tiring. These activities will probably take up the rest of the afternoon.
**For those who would just like to take in the social end of the reunion, there will be a bocce tournament in the Piazza during the afternoon. (originally there was going to be a Bocce Tournament but the field is under repair so, the tournament will happen during our day in Ofena)
19:00 onwards – Dinner will be prepared and served by the Pro Loco in the gymnasium of the school, with local wines and products. Cost of dinner will be 30 euros each (including the wines)
*Parking is suggested near the school to walk the easy route to the piazza and down again.
